This pad cushions the forehead part of the mask and prevents marks and skin irritation. The pad fits securely onto the silicone forehead part of the mask. The slits in the edge of the pad are to pass the headgear straps through, if needed. Each pad is approximately 4 inches long by 2 inches wide. They come 2 to a package with an optional extra pad that can be tucked into the forehead pad to make it thicker. This style forehead pad fits several different models of CPAP masks. Alternately this product can be used to pad buckles on the headgear. The straps would feed through the slits on the edges and attach to the buckle inside the pad.
