DESCRIPTION

The PAD A CHEEK mask liners are designed to prevent contact dermatitis from the cushion of the mask. The mask liner also should help prevent the marks from the mask cushion. The material is moisture wicking to absorb oil and sweat and lengthen the life of the cushion. Many people have told me that they also reduce the leaks, but that is a happy accident. The mask liner wraps securely around the mask and is designed to stay on the mask whenever you remove the mask in the night or in the morning. This mask liner includes a forehead pad, so there is no need to purchase that separately. There is a nose bridge pad sewn into the mask liner to help prevent redness to that area. Also optional extra triangle pads are included in the package that you can place in the pocket in the mask liner. (If you are concerned they may slip,  you can take a single stitch through them with needle and thread)

Typically the hole for your nose and mouth is cut smaller than needed. This is done because some of our customers like to have the fabric over their mouth to help remind them to breathe only through their nose. If you want to make the opening larger for your mouth, cut tiny slits at the edge of the hole and try it on. If it is not large enough, make the slits a bit deeper and try it on again. Repeat this until the hole is the right size for you and then take the mask liner off the mask and trim away the fabric between the slits. Then take the mask liner and lay it on a paper and draw the size of the hole you came up with so next time you order one you will know how large to make it. The hole is really easy to get too large, so take your time.

Washable and reusable these mask liners will last over 6 months. Some of our customers have used them for over 2 years. These have been tested for cleaning with the SoClean machine and showed no damage.

  • For best results, hand wash in warm soapy water and rinse well. Wash weekly or more often if desired. You can use any type soap you would use on your skin to wash this product.

If you machine wash and dry, use delicate settings and a cooler dryer.

Any pink micro fiber products should be washed before first use to remove excess dye in the fabric or it may turn your mask pink (that does not hurt the mask)
